The LCI-UK Summit 2018 “Lean Productivity – From Design to Delivery” – Thursday 1st November 2018.
Bourton Group LLP has for many years supported the LCI-UK with their annual summit, and this year we have expanded our involvement following the appointment of Bourton Group Senior Partner Rob Walley to the board of LCI-UK.
In addition to leading a team of Bourton Group Lean experts from our consulting team, running events at both summit and training day, Rob will be filling the role of Master of Ceremonies at both Summit Dinner and throughout the Summit itself.
On the Summit day, Bourton Group will be facilitating a small group session based on ‘Improving incident clearance using a Lean Approach’
This will focus on the work of Highways England Traffic Officers in the South East who have been using a Lean based approach to improve the clearance rates of traffic incidents and resulting congestion on their local motorway network. This despite increases in demand of up to 300% in some parts of the network and an environment of zero increase in Traffic Officer capacity.

Developing Lean Expertise, The LCI-UK Lean Construction Training– Wednesday 31st October 2018.
Arran McDonald, Senior Consultant and Keith Bennett, Master Black Belt. Offer a ‘Practical guide to deploying collaborative planning and production control.’ Their workshop will demonstrate how the principles of Lean can be applied to the planning and delivery of construction schemes and projects. The workshop is perfect for those of you who wish to learn about Collaborative Planning and Production Control techniques.
The LCI-UK Pre-Summit Dinner – Wednesday 31st October 2018
The Pre-Summit Dinner has always been a key part of the LCI-UK Lean Event. Each year we host a table and invite attendees to join us. So, if you’re going to the Summit why not join us for dinner, as our guest.
