The LCI-UK Pre-Summit Dinner – 26th October 2016
The Pre-Summit Dinner has always been an important part of the LCI-UK Summit. Once again we will be hosting a table and if you’re going to the Summit, we would like to invite you to join us for dinner, as our guest.
As previous hosts, the dinner has proved to be a great opportunity to get in a room with some of the major players from the UK’s Construction industry.

The LCI-UK Summit 2016 – Thursday 27th October 2016
For the 4th year running Bourton Group will be supporting the LCI-UK with their annual summit.
Derek Drysdale, will be delivering the opening address and as well as being Chairman and Trustee of the LCI, Derek has held Executive posts within Network Rail and Highways England.
We have worked with Highways England for more than 10 years, helping to deploy Lean improvement across the organisations supply chain and 3,500 staff. To date, joint efficiencies of over £80m have been shared with the Supply Chain.
Once again three of our consulting team will be facilitating workshops covering:
Session 1 – A Model for Lean Leadership
Rob Walley, Partner.
Rob has over 25 years’ experience in consulting and specialises in the strategy of sustained operational performance improvement in the Construction and Infrastructure sector.
Session 2 – How do you successfully engage people in a Lean environment?
Arran McDonald, Consultant.
Arran has extensive Lean Six Sigma experience particularly within the construction sector. He is passionate about continuous improvement and enjoys coaching, training and developing lean competence.
Session 3 – High Performance & Reliability in Organisations
Ken Powell, Consultant.
Ken has over 15 years’ experience of applying Lean and Six Sigma tools successfully within operational improvement and change management roles within construction and Infrastructure in both public and private sector organisations.
