The MCA Consulting Excellence is a positive initiative, developed by firms who are committed to doing the right thing. We have committed to the MCA ‘Consulting Excellence’ Principles to give assurance to our clients that our firm and consultants behave ethically and professionally.
We have been active members of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) since the mid-1980s. Entry requirements to the MCA are strict and only established consultancies are considered for membership.
Consulting Excellence is the ground-breaking new scheme for the UK’s leading management consulting firms. It marks a step-change for the industry. We have adopted the 12 Principles of Consulting Excellence and embedded them into the management and development of our staff. MCA membership enables us to continuously improve our services by benchmarking our performance against others in the industry.
The Principles express the mix of the long-standing commitment to quality service plus a relentless focus on innovation. As consulting firms work increasingly in partnership with others to achieve complex outcomes for clients, Consulting Excellence is used to commit all participants to common, high standards. The Principles also encourage firms to evolve to meet emerging business, public and social needs.
Consulting Excellence is under constant review and will develop in response to the changes and innovation in the industry and wider economy. The MCA will conduct two major annual surveys to support Consulting Excellence: one of consultants and a second of clients.
