Six Sigma Green Belts (5 and 10 day options)

Six Sigma Green Belts are part-time practitioners in process improvement. They lead small project teams to address problems using the Six Sigma process improvement methodology that leads to:

  • millions of pounds savings
  • reduced process cycle times
  • improved quality
  • increased customer and supplier benefits

Who should attend this course?

Staff identified as potential part-time leaders of improvement projects.

What will attendees take away? They will:

  • Define a Six Sigma process improvement project.
  • Form a project team.
  • Lead the team through the Six Sigma project process to deliver benefits to the business.
  • Know when and how to use key elements in the Six Sigma tool-set to make data driven improvements.
  • Coach team members in the Six Sigma project process and tool-set.

We offer two Green Belt programmes, a 5 and a 10 day programme, based around the DMAICT (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control and Transfer) Improvement Process.

The 5-day course incorporates Lean principles within the DMAICT Process Improvement Methodology and enables the individual to run simple projects (such as waste elimination) or to provide support to a certified Green Belt on a larger project.
