Managers’ Workshop (5 days)

Successful implementation of Lean in any Business is heavily reliant on the role performed by the functional managers within that business. These workshops are designed to prepare managers ahead of the deployment of Lean within the area of their managerial responsibility. This will enable them to have the appropriate level of Lean understanding to support their teams and team members through their Lean Journey.

As with all Lean training sessions and events, we deploy a range of training vehicles to educate and enlighten attendees. This includes use of video, case studies, simulation activities and hands on participation by all attendees. For managers, we often encourage ‘back to the floor’ based activities to allow them to reacquaint themselves with the day to day concerns of their teams.

Who should attend this seminar?

  • Managers of Departments and Teams about to start the deployment of Lean
  • Lean Facilitators set to work with and support these Teams

What will they take away?

  • A basic understanding of Lean sufficient to enable them to engage and participate and lead deployment in their area
  • An understanding of the importance of their role in any Lean deployment
  • Comprehension of how Lean will impact on their role and how they need to behave to support the deployment of Lean throughout the implementation phase and beyond
