construction sector, but like many such firms were having to consider the thorny issue

of succession planning and developing new senior leaders to take the business

forward. The business also needed to grow its client base and geographical footprint.

All within the context of the deep recession and pressure on Professional Services

Bourton Group developed an organisational development and change programme

that combined strategic advice and challenge to the Board, coaching to key business

leaders and a leadership development successfully. Working with the board, we

designed a recruitment and development process for a new Managing Director and

new board members. Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership was embedded through a

targeted bespoke top leaders programme

P+HS have secured future orders in the Middle East, opened a new office in London,

gained business in key sectors such as Health and Education. Individuals have gained

recognition for their business and professional approach and are seen as industry

leaders. The business has successfully ridden the storm of the recession and grown its

workforce in its Head Office and its satellite Leeds and London Offices
